Argentine Receipts

Today I found a receipt from Argentina in the pocket of a jacket I hadn’t worn since returning from there. And now — while I brought a bunch of things home from my trip — none of it felt as foreign as that slip of white paper, the receipt from a crossing over the Straits of Magellan.

It seemed like an exciting discovery on this very cold fall day. It fluttered in my hand from the breeze and I was very happy with it.
